Type: Angiographer

Location: Murray, UT  

Fidé is currently seeking an Angiographer with one year of current experience for a 13-week per diem contract in Murray, UT  

Must have Vascular/Interventional radiography certification or one year of Angio/Interventional experience.

Duties:

• Ensures proper patient identification and order verification and prepares the patient for the exam.

• Prepares patients for exams using appropriate body mechanics

• Identifies proper exams based on patient need and utilizes correct exam techniques.

• Produces quality images through the appropriate operation of equipment/instrumentation.

• Follows proper patient identification protocols.

• Thoroughly and accurately completes all required documentation, including time stamps and image storage.

• Maintains work area and stocks needed supplies.

• Transports patients as needed.

• Develops specific knowledge with regard to invasive, diagnostic and interventional supplies, appropriate indications and applications, and proper use and deployment techniques.

• At the end of the procedure, may apply closure device, suture the sheath in place, or remove the sheath and apply pressure to obtain hemostasis.

• Understand and applies principles of x-ray generation and safety.

• Understand and demonstrate the correct operation of imaging equipment.

• Provides patient education, as needed and assures patient comfort.

• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech, according to Angio lab policies and procedures and Scope of Practice documents.

Items Needed For Submission: 

• Current ARRT 

• State of Utah Rad Tech License

• Current AHA BLS

• Current AHA ACLS or AHA PALS preferred 

• Resume with full work history, no gaps

• Drivers License 

• Skills Checklist from within the past year 

• EMR Experience (Include years of experience and systems used)

• Final RTO or any scheduling requests 

• Two Supervisory References from the past two years of employment 

Hours Per Week: 40 Shift: Days  Hours Per Day: 10.00 Days Per Week: 4.00

Travel Hourly Pay: $37.00 Travel Weekly Stipend: $1554.00 Travel Weekly Package: $3034.00  Local Hourly Pay: $68.00 Local Weekly Package: $2720.00
