Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Unit Information: Patient Ratios –1:4; stretch staffing at 1:5 ratio. Type of patients: patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, Pulmonary Hypertension; valvular disease, endocarditis; DKA; post cardiac cath/stent; post pacer/ICD/ ablation.
Type of equipment: Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipments, bladder scanner. EMR - Cerner. List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Bedside Cardioversion. Floating Area(s): All MedSurg units, Stepdown units, COVID unit, and ER holding. Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - all white or all navy blue or white top and navy blue pants.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current 2 years of current PCU RN experience
- Must have experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications like nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex/Lasix; etc.
- Current North Carolina RN License
- Current AHA BLS
- Current AHA ACLS
- Drivers License
- EMR Experience (Include years of experience, and systems used)
- Final RTO or any scheduling requests
- Two Supervisory References from the past two years of employment
Shift: 19:00-07:00 (3x12 - Nights)
Travel Hourly Pay: $20
Travel Stipend: $1350
Travel Weekly Package: $2070
Local Hourly Pay: $50
